Richard appears to have died at Smokie's 'hands', lol, assuming smokie has hands. I thought Richard was supposed to live forever. Maybe with Jacob's death, that guarantee is no longer valid.
It reminds me of a famous NFL football story. Before the Rams moved from LA to St. Louis in 1994, the team was owned by Georgia Frontiere, who had inherited the franchise upon the death of her husband, Carroll Rosenbloom.
Rosenbloom had hired Don Klosterman to run the club, in what was dubbed to be a 'lifetime' contract. But after Rosenbloom died, klosterman was canned by Frontiere. The sports commentators quipped that Klosterman's contract was indeed a 'lifetime' contract, just not HIS lifetime, lol. |

| not vindication Manny, cause the monster threw him into the jungle...Richard, IMHO, can not die. That was what Jacob bestowed on him, so no matter how hard anyone can try, Richard should not be able to die. Just cause he was thrown into the air does not mean he's dead. I may be wrong, but I wouldn't like it if I was, being that that would make Jacobs gift have no bearing. Richard didn't ask for longevity, he specifically asked to never be able to die. Richard can't die. |

Check out THIS interview with Nestor where he strongly implies that Richard's still alive and kicking in the finale.
"My last day of filming, I had a blast, 'cause I shot... ohhh... this is airing before the finale, isn't it?" _________________ -Friends don't let friends drink and post- |

A crazy homeless man (my trusted source) told me Richard was thrown onto Henry Gale's balloon and he blows it back up and uses it to float to Spain. You can take that to the bank.
Seriously, though. I'm holding out that he isn't dead. Not because he's immortal, he simply lives forever. There's a difference between being immortal and living forever. An immortal person cannot die no matter what, one who lives forever can be killed, just like Jacob. Regardless, I just think if they were going to kill Richard, they would take a little more than a few seconds to do so. _________________ -42 |

This raises an issue.
We've clearly seen that the Smoke Monster could not kill Richard. So, how was he going to die when he wanted Jack to light the dynamite? I mean, if Jack had lit the dynamite and left the room, would it have blown up? Would Richard died or lived? |

Great I was hoping youd say that. I never read the other information anyway; but having the press releases all in one place at least until each episode airs is immensely helpful _________________ To see reliable luxury car rental opportunities in Las Vegas look at my personal site. |
