Ok, so we all know that Dharma is a word that has Indian Origins. Could it therefore be possible that the island depicted in Lost could be North Sentinel Island (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Sentinel).
Indian Island - Dharma (as a word) has Indian Origins
Lost Tribe - Well there they are
Shape of the island - Similar, almost Identical
Why they do not get rescued - Hostile island, nobody ever visits, Danger Of Death
It may be that the Dharma Corporation has infiltrated the island, and made all their installations there, then left. The native islanders still live there and are "The Others", the North Sentinelese, whom even in real life have never been contacted, and no knowledge exists of their language.
What does anyone think? |
