As a VIP member, you can have your own Avatar. This custom image will appear beneath your name on all posts you make on the site.

How do I become a VIP member?
The cost is $14.95 for a 1 year VIP Membership. Click Here to be directed to the subscription page.
If your paypal email address is different that your email address used to register on this site, please send a Private Message to XSCG and specify your member name to be added to the VIP, as well as your paypal address.
After subscribing your account will still have to be manually activated. Most times, it will only take a few minutes, but please allow a maximum of 2 business days for this to occur.
What if I don't have a Paypal account?
To donate via Paypal, you only need a credit card. You do not have to be a paypal member.
How do I cancel my VIP membership?
If you do not want your payment to be renewed after the first year, please Click Here to cancel your subscription.

I'll specifically NOT join if you restrict signature images to ONLY VIP members.
Some of the tards on this forum make Corky from Life Goes On look like #### Einstein.

Hey admin...I purchased a membership using a friends pay pal account. They are un able to access that e mail account at this time. Do I have to get to that account to register as a vip? Could you please PM me if that is the case...I can't, as I said access that account...but I can tell you what the account name is.

Just for the record...
no one actually had avi's before the VIP room, unless they donated money.
Then typically the avi's you'd see were the standard "locke looking in the hatch" avi.
But - no - the admin didn't "take away" avi's once the VIP room was up. You had to be a donating member in order to have an avatar.

I am sorry that you two (and everyone else who does) feel this way. I can tell you for certain that noone that contributed to the site is showing off their status of their VIP membership. However, I really DO like having an avatar. I don't see it as advertising any special status, I see it as more of an expression of myself, and my current mood.
None of us are trying to be elitist, in fact there are maybe only 30 thread there. All of the current VIP members continue to post throughout the forum.
Edit . . . For some reason, my response was initially in the quote. I edited it to move it out.

I am sorry that you feel that way Sepiroth.
The majority of the members who are also VIP members had donated money a long time ago - some - donated early last year.
Please keep in mind that the people who are VIP members aren't any different than the non-VIP members.
